Pretty much everything - the staff were great, and the location was especially convenient as the station was directly across the road.

Location and price are excellent. Quiet rooms, even though you are opposite from the railway station. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. Matras is perfect, excellent sleeping comfort. Breakfast buffet offers a large choice of different food - it is in a separate place around the corner and has a quiet atmosphere as well. The hotel's location is wonderful, close to the city centre, Wyck, and if you want to travel outside, the train and bus station are at 1 minute walk.

We loved how the room layout gave us space to breathe. It didn’t feel cramped at all. The entire hotel smelled amazing, which made every return feel extra welcoming. And the location? Perfect. Just steps from the station and close to the vibrant buzz of the city. Kaboom really nailed the sweet spot between comfort and convenience.

Came here during Pinkpop because they confirmed that they can accept check-in even after midnight, with optionally leaving bags in the morning before check-in. However we didn't use the opportunity and simply arrived around 15 instead. Also the location is great, literally 1 min walking from train station, so plenty of cafes and shops nearby as well. Surprisingly we received a room much larger than booked - with 4 comfortable single beds for 2 of us, with own toilet and large shower. Had windows and air conditioning. Had a quiet night. Neat style is maintained throughout the hotel.

The room was small, but cozy, location excellent, a little walk from the train station, on the corner of the main street, in a nice neighbourhood. The breakfast was nice, in a separate area at the next door. The elevator is good to have, and the chill zone is a good place to sit down. Water and Popping sugar at the reception! The stuff is very friendly and helpful in the check-in and check-out. I liked the funny (and mindful) lines in the bathroom about how to save water. And I think I haven't seen such a big screen in a hotel room before.

The hotel is very conveniently located right across from the train station. I appreciate it that it was extremely easy to find, since I had never traveled to Maastricht before. The room was spacious and the lighting, both natural and Electric, was good. The hotel has very good access to buses going into the city and the staff were helpful in giving me info about the buses.

We recently stayed five nights at Hotel Kaboom in Maastricht. This is my 4th time staying at Kaboom. As always it is an excellent choice for our trip. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient—it’s right across from the train station, with a parking garage just down the street. For coffee lovers, there’s a fantastic coffee shop next door, and the Albert Heijn grocery store in the station is open late, which came in handy. There’s also a Starbucks in the station for a quick pick-me-up. The area is lively, with plenty of stores, restaurants, and cafés within walking distance, making it a great base for exploring the city. Breakfast at the hotel was a typical Dutch spread—simple but satisfying, with fresh bread, cheeses, and more to start your day. Overall, Hotel Kaboom offers a perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and accessibility, making it an ideal choice for a stay in Maastricht. We’d happily stay here again!

The hotel was very easy to find and well-situated in Maastricht. I was greeted warmly. And, although I chose to check-in in-person, it was a seamless process. The room was huge and very clean. It had beautiful natural light, and it's large windows were dressed with white blackout curtains. The bed was very comfortable. Possibly the best sleep I had for my entire trip. Most staff were very welcoming and hospitable.

Staff is extremely kind both at reception and in the breakfast room. Some room are a little bit too cold in particular during night time but at the reception you can ask for a portable heater. Breakfast is a great mix of salty, fruity and sweetly

The location of this is excellent, literally right across the train station and a nice walk into town. There are also plenty of restaurants around. The decor of this hotel is clean, modern and with some fun phrases and designs around the hotel waiting to be discovered. You can also rent the resident stick insects (Bonnie and Clyde) if you like some company. There is a private patio area where you can chill out and watch the stars.
